Food delivery: Shake-up looms as more vie for slice of the pie

Once, there were the Big Three, but recently, 10 more players have hit the road. Customers are spoilt for choice, but with thin margins and hot competition, could things turn sour?

The pandemic circuit breaker sparked a surge in demand for food delivery services - and this, in turn, has prompted an influx of new players.

At least 10 new online delivery platforms have emerged in recent months, adding to the established Big Three of GrabFood, Foodpanda and Deliveroo.
